It’s official: the Saint-Vincent Tournante 2024 will take place in Chambolle-Musigny and Morey-Saint-Denis, neighboring villages of the Côte de Nuits. During a presentation evening, those responsible for the event have already drafted the program.

Barely time to recover from the Saint-Vincent Tournante 2023 of Couchey (which had such great success) that here comes the next one. The Saint-Vincent Tournante 2024 will take place on the weekend of January 27 and 28 in the villages of Chambolle-Musigny and Morey-Saint-Denis, in Côte de Nuits.

2022 vintage at the tasting

The organizing committee, chaired by winegrowers Laurent Lignier and Myriam Huélin, announced the outline of their event during an evening presentation. First, the official poster was unveiled: a work by Camille Garnier, an independent graphic designer from Beaune. The official glass was also presented: it will be a Lehmann. With its streaks, it is a little “old-fashioned”, reminiscent of the sculpted wine glasses of yesteryear.

We already know that two red cuvées will be offered to visitors during the event: a Chambolle and a Morey, both from the 2022 vintage. As tradition dictates, donations from winegrowers made it possible to carry out the vintages.

THE ROTATING SAINT VINCENT
Every year since 1938, the Burgundy winegrowers’ festival, known as “Saint-Vincent Tournante” in homage to the patron saint of winegrowers, takes place on the last weekend of January in a different village in the vineyard. This day-event takes place in two parts: the ceremonial part, made up of a parade, a mass and inductions; and the festive part, with the opening, in the host village, of tasting cellars open to the general public. The event brings together tens of thousands of participants each time.
