The now famous (mythical?) Hospices de Beaune wine auction will take place this year on Sunday, November 16, 2014. On the menu a 2014 vintage very very promising in quality as well as in quality on many appellations. However, the Côte de Beaune was hit by severe hailstorms during the summer, and many plots were devastated. The yield in the Beaune appellation is for example only 15 hl/hectare!
