The 79th edition of the Saint-Vincent Tournante will take place on the weekend of January 28 and 29, 2023. The festivities will take place in Couchey, north of the Côte de Nuits, for the first time in 40 years. A village of close-knit winegrowers who will honor their appellation: Marsannay.
It is the only Burgundy appellation that exists in three colors: red, white and rosé. Marsannay will be on the menu of the festivities of the great festival of Burgundy winegrowers, Saint-Vincent-Tournante, 2023 edition.
Eight cuvées to taste
The appellation is produced in the villages of Marsannay-la-Côte and Couchey, and it is the latter that will welcome visitors this weekend of January 28 and 29, 2023. As is customary, these two days will be organized around two large shutters.
On the one hand, a ceremonial part, including a parade of the winegrowing brotherhoods, mass and enthronement.
On the other hand, the general public component. In the village decorated for the occasion, visitors will be able to walk from stand to stand: gastronomic stalls, concert venues, but above all tasting cellars. They will be 9, spread throughout the village. In each of them, the volunteers will serve visitors one or more cuvées produced by the Couchey winegrowers:

– Marsannay Blanc 2020 (Cave n°2)
– Marsannay Red 2016 (Cave n°3)
– Marsannay Red 2017 (Cave n°6)

– Marsannay “Champs Perdrix” 2018 (Caveau n°8)
– Marsannay Rosé 2022 (Cave n°7)

Saturday January 28, 2023
7:30 a.m.: Departure of the parade of the 100 Brotherhoods of Burgundy from Tonnellerie Rousseau (D974, Couchey) to reach the village of Couchey, accompanied by the three bands of Nuits-Gevrey, Quétigny and Marsannay la Côte.
8:30 a.m.: Solemn ceremony and tribute to the deceased of Couchey (Monument to the dead, Couchey cemetery).
10 a.m.: Religious ceremony in the church of Couchey Saint Germain d’Auxerre, and simultaneous broadcast on the Place de Couchey.
11:00 a.m.: Opening of the tasting cellars & Induction by the Brotherhood of the Knights of Tastevins of the winemakers and inhabitants of Couchey, in front of the Town Hall.
3:00 p.m.: Dances and songs by the children of the Groupe Scolaire Louis Combe de Couchey.
11 a.m. – 5 p.m.: Musical entertainment, street artists, traveling shows will enliven the streets of our villages.
5 p.m.: Closing of the tasting cellars.
