The great festival of Burgundy winegrowers takes place in Puligny Montrachet, Corpeau and Blagny on March 19 and 20, 2022. An edition that was to be held in 2021, and was postponed because of the health context. Lovers of burgundy whites have something to celebrate. On Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 March 2022, the 78th Saint-Vincent Tournante will introduce the general public to some of the most famous Chardonnays in the world: those of Puligny-Montrachet, Blagny and Corpeau. Eight cuvées to be exact, made with grapes from more than 60 local winegrowers. And the least we can say is that they spoiled the participants. You can enjoy throughout the weekend:
- A Burgundy Côte d'Or 2018, red
- A Burgundy Côte d'Or 2018, white
- A Puligny-Montrachet 2017
- A Puligny-Montrachet 2018
- A Puligny-Montrachet 1er cru 2018
- A Puligny-Montrachet 1er cru 2017
- A Puligny-Montrachet 1er cru Les Folatières 2018
- Un Puligny-Montrachet Terroirs de Blagny 1er cru, 2018
Wines all complex and elegant, which we can easily imagine when learning the names of the winemakers: Jean-Charles Fagot (Domaine Jean-Charles Fagot), Laurent Martelet (Domaine Comtesse de Chérisey), and Pierre Vincent (Domaine Leflaive).
Puligny in celebration
To taste them, there is only one condition: get a tasting kit. This includes: a glass and six tasting tickets, including a "mystery" ticket that gives the right to one of the last three vintages, drawn at random, because their quantities are smaller. To buy online or on site. But it is of course possible to come without tasting. Beyond the wines, the Saint-Vincent Tournante offers concerts, entertainment and local catering, in a jovial atmosphere and decorated villages. Tens of thousands of participants are expected. Info and reservations of tasting kits in this link.
